Season 6 Scrapbook

Under the leadership of trumpeter Matt Bott, the band fields the usual array of trumpets, trombones, saxes, and rhythm.--17 pieces in all! It draws its personnel from the ranks of some of the best young professional musicians in town, all of whom love the big band format.

Many of the band's arrangements are drawn from the hard-swinging book
of sax legend Illinois Jacquet, and are a perfect foil for the band's driving energy.
